Abyss of Metal

Many years ago, in another life. my wife and her best friend heard some crazy expression that was both charming and made no sense in any other scenario. They thought it sounded like some heavy metal rock band's album of children's nursery rhymes. Over the years they collected a list of weird phrases as they happened in nature. As a Christmas gift to my wife, I illustrated a few of them and made them into a calendar!

Each illustration is made from images of different kinds of metals to go with the hard rock theme.
